Holy Cross Province

Holy Cross Province is situated in southeastern part of Poland. The capital and the largest city of the region is Kielce. Other cities and towns are, for example: Sandomierz, Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Opatów, Skarżysko – Kamienna, Starachowice, Końskie, Busko – Zdrój, Jędzrejów. Holy Cross Province occupies the area of 11672 square kilometres. In Holy Cross Province there is Świętokrzyski National Park. The park is famous for it's trees. 674 of them are protected as monuments of nature. The region has a lot of tourist attractions, such as beautiful caves and Holy Cross Mountains.
